Yes. Daikin is one of the better brands you can buy in New Zealand. The Cora high wall is quiet, reliable and dehumidifies well, which counts for a lot in our damp climate. The main thing is getting it sized and installed properly, because even a good unit disappoints if it's the wrong size for the room.
How long do Daikin heat pumps last?
A Daikin that's installed well and looked after will usually give you a good ten to fifteen years, sometimes more. Near the coast, salt is the thing that shortens that. Careful placement out of the salt wind and a regular clean of the filters and coils make the biggest difference to how long yours lasts.
Are Daikin heat pumps good for damp homes?
