What's the real heat pump installation cost in New Plymouth?

What's actually in a supply and install price

When we quote, the number covers the unit, the brackets, pipework, drainage, electrical connection and the labour to fit it tidily. That's a full heat pump installation, not just the box off the shelf. A cheap online-only unit still needs all of that done, and done right, or it never heats the way it should.

Coastal Taranaki adds a couple of real costs a national price list ignores. Salt air off the Tasman eats cheap mounts and outdoor units, so we use corrosion-resistant brackets and site the outdoor unit away from the worst of the spray in places like Oakura and the coastal edge of New Plymouth. Why the right size costs less than the wrong one
